Harrie identified the site for the proposed Golf &
Country Club in 1995.
The land at that time was being used for farming and
horticulture and was owned by two parties. Seven hundred acres were purchased
with the Yarra River providing water frontage to the site making it a
magnificent location for a development.
The Golf & Country Club / Resort has now been
developed with an estimated value of over $100 M.

This project was conceived by in 1995 approached the
City of Knox with the concept plan in stream zone land owned by the Council.
Over the period of 4 years intense planning and
negotiation took place with the necessary consultants and planners to bring this
plan to be approved by the council for development.
This $120M development has now commenced and will be
completed over the next 4 - 5 years.
The project consists of

* 75 Condominiums
* 18 Hole Championship Golf Course - Full Cart paths
* Site for an International Hotel - 150 rooms
* Conference Facilities - 800 people
* Health Club - Swimming Pool
* Tennis Courts
* Headquarters of the Victorian Golf Administrations
* Many other community support facilities
This development will provide the area and surrounding
districts with facilities not experienced before.
